Poplar Bluff's
famous Bloodworth House encases the original family home
which once belonged to Linda Bloodworth-Thomason's
grandparents. The
house is now the headquarters of the Claudia Foundation.
This once simple home has been remarkably renovated in the style of an
early 18th century English country manor and is furnished with antiques
from that period. The formal gardens surrounding the house are enhanced
with seasonal plantings and European statuary.
A place of beauty and historical significance, the Bloodworth House is
open to the public for tours which are hosted by trained docents. Click

The house may be reserved for special event bookings by qualifying
organizations. Those interested in reserving the house must submit a
booking request to the Board of Directors. For more information on this
process and other questions, please email info@claudiafoundation.org
